nepal promoted to division 2 in world cricket
Kathmandu, Oct 29: Nepal has been promoted to Division 2 in world
cricket after making it to the final of World Cricket League Division 3 final.
In the match today, Malaysia scored
142 runs losing all its wickets in 43.3 overs after being put into bat by
Nepal. Captain Paras Khadka took 4 wickets to limit Malaysia to a paltry total.
Bhuvan Karki took 3 wickets while Shakti Gauchan took 2 wickets.
In reply, Nepal had compiled 89 runs in 25 overs at the loss of 2
wickets. However, the match was obstructed due to rain and thus decided through
the D/L method. Naresh Budha top scored for Nepal with 42 runs followed
by Vice Captain Gyanendra Malla who scored 35 runs. RSS
